As long as the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria continues to present these elderly politicians who have nothing good to offer to the people of Nigeria, they will remain in opposition for a very long time. If the members of the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria are sincere, they should have zoned the presidential ticket to the south, but Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s desperation to be the president of Nigeria would not allow the party to think straight and do the needful. Alhaji Atiku Abubakar had money to buy delegates, which enabled him to win the presidential primary as alleged. Look at governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state who is Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s running mate, salaries of workers and pensioners’ allowances are not properly paid. Such a governor who cannot manage the affairs of Delta state nicely is now Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s running mate. With both of them coming together as a team, the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria will surely lose the election come 2023. Again, if the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria wants to take power back, they should reform the party. Retire those elderly politicians in the party and give room for the younger generation of Nigerians to take over. Only on that basis would the people of Nigeria listen to them. If not, the PDP will remain in opposition for a very long time.
