The outgoing governor of Osun state (governor Rauf Aregbesola) is a bad news to governance for leaving behind months if not years of unpaid workers salaries and pensioners allowances for the incoming governor of the state (Osun state, Nigeria) to carry. Though the newly elected governor of Osun state (Nigeria) has always been part of governor Rauf Aregbesola’s administration which puts all of them in one group but then we (Viewers Corner News team) are not going to dwell on that anymore since the Social Democratic Party (SDP) agreed to form a coalition government with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun state (Nigeria). Again, we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to the coalition government of Osun state which is yet to be formed to kindly run the affairs of the state (Osun state) properly and never go with or build on the legacy of governor Rauf Aregbesola who does not care about how the pensioners and workers in Osun state (Nigeria) are fairing. We (Viewers Corner News team) are saying so because if he cares about the welfare of those workers and pensioners in Osun state, their salaries and pension allowances would have been paid on regular basis. Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun state has no reason to owe workers and pensioners in his state because the federal government of Nigeria under the leadership of president Buhari gave out bailout funds to various states across the country (Nigeria) which governor Rauf Aregbesola benefited from but refused to use the money for the purpose it was meant for. This singular act brought severe pains to the people of Osun state (Nigeria) most especially the pensioners who could not get their pension allowances to buy medicines and food. This alone led some into developing high blood pressure and death at the end based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings which is heartbroken. However we (Viewers Corner News team) are hoping that since the APC and SDP are jointly going to lead Osun state (Nigeria), we expect everyone to respect that and let the payment of workers salaries and pensioners allowances which governor Rauf Aregbesola is unable to pay be the number one priority of the coalition government. Please make sure that workers salaries and pensioners allowances in Osun state (Nigeria) are promptly paid as at when due.
