THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA SHOULD SEPARATE EMOTION AND SENTIMENT FROM POLITICS. GO FOR MERIT AND GOOD GOVERNANCE.

So many factors contributed to why Nigeria is not moving forward and one of them is sentiment. If you look at APC ex-governors in Nigeria who lost the last governorship election in their various states, most of them did not govern their states properly at all. They left huge debts for the incoming governors. Roads were not repaired or constructed, salaries of workers and pensioners allowances were not properly paid. Emotional attitude and sentiment are withholding the country (Nigeria) from moving forward. If you vote for an individual based on sentiment or emotional attachment rather than embracing merit and who would get the job done satisfactorily, then the result will be zero. Leave sentiment and emotion aside, follow merit which would get the people of Nigeria out of poverty. Look at Lagos state (Nigeria) for example, ex-governor Akinwunmi Ambode tried his best but not good enough. Based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings, Lagos state owed billions of debts under ex-governor Akinwunmi Ambode despite the huge earnings coming to the state. Infrastructures in Lagos state were not properly handled. How then can such individual make a difference if appointed in any position? We (Viewers Corner News team) are only advising and giving insight on the necessary steps a government should take so that the people of this country (Nigeria) can get out of poverty. It is possible to get out of poverty only if the right leaders are appointed in various positions of authority across the country (Nigeria).
