Some Nigerians supporting the Peoples Democratic Party of Nigeria can see why Mr. Atiku Abubakar, who is the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, has refused to ask Mr. Ayu (the national Chairman of the party) to resign from office so that the political party can have peace. In line with what Mr. Atiku Abubakar said recently, all the important positions in the PDP have been given to the north. Still, they expected the South to gladly support and vote for them. Such a double-standard game can not work anymore. This shows that Mr. Atiku Abubakar is too tribalistic and can not be a good president of Nigeria. At this point, the Viewers Corner News team believes that Governor Nysom Wike of Rivers state is very correct in saying that the south must have the national chairman’s position of the party. Again, Mr. Atiku Abubakar and his group are not being fair to PDP members in the south. However, for peace to come to the party, every position should be shared equally. This is the right thing to do. The Viewers Corner News team is calling on Mr. Atiku Abubakar to mediate and have the issue resolved.
