THE NIGERIAN MINISTER FOR SPORTS AND YOUTHS DEVELOPMENT (SOLOMON DALUNG) IS NOT QUALIFIED TO HEAD THAT MINISTRY TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION THE HUMILIATION THE NIGERIAN OLYMPIC TEAM RECEIVED FROM HIS MINISTRY AND ALSO FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA.

Looking at the Nigerian minister for sports and youths development (Barrister Solomon Dalung), one would easily access him, he is just there to answer the name minister for sports. He does not appeal to us as someone who have real interest in sports generally and because of that, he may not be able to organize his ministry properly. Again anyone who is handling such position should be an individual with great interest in the field of sports and should be able to encourage the Nigerian team at all times by making sure that their welfare is properly looked into. If the minister had done what was required of him, we do not think that the Nigerian Olympic team would go to Rio Olympic and get stranded, this attitude does not say well of Nigeria as a great nation. Even some countries that did not take active part in the sporting event were properly cared for by their countries but Nigerians that took part in some of the sporting events at the Rio Olympic were poorly treated by their government, we blamed the Nigerian minister for sports and youths development ( Barrister Solomon Dalung) for not doing his job properly.
However Viewers Corner News and the advisory team would use this opportunity to appeal to the Nigerian government to always make funds available for these young men and women representing their country (Nigeria) because it is an honour and Nigerians are trying their best when it comes to sports at the international level. Please encourage your sports men and women who are working so hard to make Nigeria proud during sporting events, they deserve the best from the Nigerian government because it is not easy to compete in any sporting event be it local or at the international level.
