THE NIGERIA COMPTROLLER GENERAL OF CUSTOM SERVICE, MR. HAMEED ALI HAS REFUSED TO WEAR THE CUSTOM UNIFORM. WHAT DOES THE NIGERIA LAW SAY ABOUT IT?

Our (Viewers Corner News team) correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) learned that the Comptroller general of custom service in the country (Nigeria), Mr.Hameed Ali said recently that he would not wear the custom uniform which the National Assembly members are asking him to wear. However there is nothing wrong with the comptroller wearing the custom uniform but if is optional in the Nigerian law, then it is his choice to choose whether to wear it or not.  We also learnt that his colleagues in other government agencies are wearing their uniforms to work. Those National Assembly members asking him to wear the uniform should check what the law says to that effect. If the Nigerian law says that those appointed must wear uniforms to work whether they like it or not, then he has no choice than to wear it. If he says no, then he should resign as he was rightly advised by members of the Nigeria National Assembly.
