The judiciary workers in Abia State will start smiling again as Governor Alex Otti is about to begin paying their unpaid salaries and benefits. The past governors of Abia State who were in office before Dr. Alex Otti came to power were so corrupt and unable to settle the salaries of the judiciary workers. Now Governor Alex Otti has taken it upon himself to pay off these debts. When the Viewers Corner News team visited Abia State recently, we found out that construction of roads in most areas of the state has begun. Some have even been completed, which is great. We drove nicely without stress in most places we visited, unlike before, when major roads were filled with refuse dumps. Governor Alex Otti is the best governor so far that has ever been elected by the people of Abia State. We would use this opportunity to applaud Professor Nnenna Oti, who was the INEC returning office in the Abia state governorship election and who made it possible for Governor Alex Otti to be in office. Professor Nnenna Oti stood for the truth; she refused to play the dirty games of the Nigerian politicians by calling the real result of the governorship election, despite the huge sums of money she was offered as a bribe to change the result of the election to favour another political party’s candidate. This again made Professor Nnenna Oti the best and one of the most trusted women in Nigeria.
