THE LUXURY SHOEMAKER, JIMMY CHOO IS TO BE PURCHASED BY THE UNITED STATES RETAILER, MICHAEL KORS FOR $1.2 BILLION.

Michael Kors (U.S. retailer) plans to buy the luxury shoemaker, Jimmy Choo for $1.2 billion. The company which was founded in the 90’s by bespoke shoemaker put itself up for sale in April 2017 after JAB (its majority owner) decided to focus on consumer goods. Jimmy Choo is a luxury brand that specializes in footwear, handbags and other accessories. It sells it’s products from London to Tokyo, Paris and New York.
