President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has inaugurated his long awaited Cabinet members and equally assigned portfolios to them on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 after working five months without ministers. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the council chambers of the Presidential Villa, Abuja and all the 36 ministers that were nominated and screened last month by the Senate took the oaths of office before the inaugural session of the council started.
Below is the list of the ministers and their assigned portfolios.
-Kayode Fayemi (Ekiti state): Minister of Solid Minerals.
-Geoffrey Onyema (Enugu state): Minister for Foreign Affairs.
-Usani Uguru (Cross River state): Minister of Niger Delta.
-Ibe Kachikwu (Delta state): State Minister of Petroleum Resources.
-Ogbonaya Onu (Ebonyi state): Minister of Science and Technology.
-Osagie Ehanire (Edo state): State Minister for Health.
-Amina Mohammed (Gombe state): Minister for Environment.
-Anthony Anwuka (Imo state): State Minister for Education.
-Suleiman Adamu (Jigawa state): Minister of Water Resources.
