THE INTERNATIONAL LABOUR ORGANIZATION (ILO) POSTPONED ANNUAL GATHERING OF WORLD’S LABOUR MINISTERS TO JUNE 2021 DUE TO CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) has postponed this year’s annual gathering of the world’s labour ministers to June 2021 due to coronavirus pandemic. The United Nations agency on Monday stated that the event for its 187 member states which was scheduled for May 25-June 5 2020 had been postponed by its governing body because of worldwide travel restrictions due to the pandemic, and the need to ensure the health and well-being of delegates and staff.
