Viewers Corner News and the advisory team have written some articles on this topic in the past concerning the sit-at-home order given by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). We (Viewers Corner News team) want to remind them again that the group (IPOB) have no right whatsoever to disrupt elections in Anambra state (Nigeria) from holding or issuing death threats to those that would go out to perform their civic duty to vote for their preferred candidates as the constitution of Nigeria describes. It is against the law of the country (Nigeria) and the consequences would be very severe for anyone who would want to disrupt the election from holding. Again if the IPOB as they are called have regard and respect for the late chief Ojukwu who was the head of this movement (Biafra) and later said before his death that everyone should join hands to build one united Nigeria, then the IPOB should let go of their threats and come out en-masse to vote on the day of the election in Anambra state which is November 18, 2017. If any group in Nigeria have any reason or reasons to carry out a protest, it has to be done peacefully inline with the law without creating problems in the country (Nigeria). Now the Igbos should learn from what happened during the Biafran war where millions of people lost their lives and seek peaceful solution to their problems and not by issuing death threats to innocent people in the south east which is unacceptable. We (Viewers Corner News team) would also use this opportunity to commend senator Stella Oduah (Anambra state senator) for throwing more light on the implications of what may happen if the IPOB carries out their threats. She gave this advice recently when she spoke to journalists in Abuja (Nigeria) which Viewers Corner News correspondent in Abuja, Nigeria communicated to us. Again the IPOB should listen to the voice of reasoning and do what is right for the people of south east and Nigeria in general. Let the unity of one Nigeria be uphold.
