The IMF and the World Bank are misleading Nigeria and other countries on the continent of Africa. They should leave them alone to manage the affairs of their various countries.

The Viewers Corner News economic team wants to inform the government of Nigeria that there is no government in any country, be it advanced or a third-world country, that does not subsidise for certain goods and services, so that their citizens can get relief that would enable them to have a comfortable living. But when it comes to the continent of Africa, especially Nigeria, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund would advise the government to remove subsidies on some products that the government is subsidising for its people. This is very bad. We have written articles on this topic in the past so that the governments of Nigeria and other third-world countries would learn and do what is right for their people, but they refused to listen. The hardship in Nigeria at the moment is partially due to the wrong advice given to Nigeria by the IMF and the World Bank. Again, we are calling on the government of Nigeria to stop taking advice from the IMF and the World Bank because their advice has brought too much hardship to Nigeria. Another troubling issue is that some elected officials of the government of Nigeria are not qualified to hold the positions they occupy. Look at the minister of power in Nigeria allegedly telling Nigerians to always put off their freezing system to conserve power. For a minister to come out in public to say something like this means that he is not competent enough to be in that position because his statement is very wrong. This minister is also proposing an increase on electricity, as alleged, because according to him, Nigeria is paying the lowest rate. This move, if carried out, will create more hardship for the people of Nigeria. We also want to let Nigeria and other third-world countries know that those asking them to come and take loans are top-appointed executives of the IMF and the World Bank. These individuals are doing their jobs, meaning that the more money the third-world countries take, the better it is for the world Bank and the IMF. They are always there to give advice; even when they know that the advice they are giving to third-world nations would create more hardship for them, they still do not care. So the leadership of Nigeria should stop listening to them if they honestly want to grow the economy of Nigeria. The Viewers Corner News economic team shall continue to advise Nigeria and other third-world countries so that they can understand the manipulations of these international monetary organisations and how they operate. Taking advice from these monetary operators will completely destroy the economies of your various countries, which is the truth. Take it or leave it.
