The Houthis are in a bad position as the United States of America, for the past few months, has directed heavy artillery fire on Houthi hotspots. The Houthis have suffered a considerable amount of damage both from the earlier Israeli attack and the previous attacks from the USA. The United States has spent a great deal on the cost of the ammunition needed to repel the Houthis. The US navy has deployed several airstrikes and air carrier strikes in the past few months, showing how much of a threat the Houthis pose. The Houthis should stop, as Israel has eyes on them and is not playing around. The Houthis, however, did not relent, as they launched multiple Tomahawk missiles and drones at the carrier in response. It was intercepted on multiple occasions, but it put the United States on guard as they began to notice how much of a threat the Houthis pose. The US claimed that these attacks could hinder market trade, especially along the Red Sea shipping line. Yemen is now a prime target for the US navy, as they hope to mitigate the damage caused by both parties in the long run.
