In Nigeria, kidnapping for ransom, especially in the northern part of the country, has become a lucrative business, which is bad. Recently, it was alleged that army and navy officers were kidnapped in the country. This goes to show the level these bandits can go to prove a point that they are in control of that business and no one can stop them. They were not even afraid of the military, hence they went ahead and kidnapped them. The Viewers Corner News team is appealing to the government of Nigeria to end amnesty or any form of assistance accorded to these bandits each time they are caught. These people can never change their evil ways, no matter how hard you try to change them. They should be made to suffer severe pain just like the way they handle their victims when they are in their custody. The laws of Nigeria should be applied whenever these bandits are caught, so as to teach others lessons that crimes of any sort are not good and should not be committed. Crime like we are seeing in Nigeria is bad and destroys the image of the country badly.
