THE GAMBIAN PRESIDENT, YAHYA JAMMEH MAY BE IN FOR A BIG SHOW DOWN AS THE UNITED NATION SECURITY COUNCIL AND THE AFRICAN UNION WOULD NOT GIVE HIM PEACE IF HE REMAINS IN POWER AFTER ACCEPTING DEFEAT. YOU MUST STEP DOWN OR FACE HUMILIATION.

Yahya Jammeh (the president of Gambia) is a dictator who has caused lots of atrocities in Gambia and he is very scared right now because he does not know what would happen to him if he steps down from power. Under his leadership, lots of people have allegedly been killed for speaking their minds on the way forward for the country (Gambia). Some politicians are still in the prison till today, he has refused to release them. Even a journalist was also killed and some disappeared without any trace of them till today, most probably this was one of the reasons he removed his country’s (Gambia) membership from the International Criminal Court because he is aware that if he leaves office, he will be picked up by the International Criminal Court to answer for all the atrocities he allegedly committed, so he played smart by pulling his country (Gambia) out of that organization. In the recent presidential election held in Gambia, he was completely defeated which he gladly acknowledged and a congratulatory speech has already be given to Adama Barrow who is the president elect of Gambia. Now he has made a u-turn rejecting the free and fair election conducted in the country which he lost. However the United Nations Security Council and the African Union have said no to him remaining in power after January 2017 which is a good move, therefore we (Viewers Corner News team) are appealing to Yahya Jammeh (president of Gambia) to handover power as he promised earlier to the president elect Mr.Adama Barrow in January 2017 because if you fail to do so, the whole world would not give you peace to lead. Please remember what happened to ex-president Gbagbo of Ivory Coast, be a gentleman by handing over power to Adama Barrow and save yourself from being thrown out of office in a disgraceful manner. Again keep to your first promise as you rightly said that the Gambian people have spoken and it is time to leave. This is the wish of Almighty Allah whom you listen to very much, so do the right thing and avoid being disgraced.
