Viewers Corner got information from our correspondent in Portharcourt, Rivers State (Nigeria) that the former Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Solomon Peter Alamieyeseigha is dead.
According to report, he died on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the Portharcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH) where he had been in coma for days. He was 63 years. Diepreye Alamieyeseigha was the governor of Bayelsa State (Niger Delta) from 1999 to 2005 and was impeached on corruption charges.
