Father Bernard Preynat, a former Roman Catholic priest was sentenced to five years in prison on Monday, 17 March 2020. A court in Lyon (France) convicted the 74-year-old former Priest for sexually abusing dozens of children (boys scouts) in the 1980s and early 1990s. The Prosecutors said that Father Bernard Preynat was a serial pedophile and he preyed on children entrusted to his care by their parents.
