Information reaching Viewers Corner News from our source in Abuja (Nigeria) revealed that no matter the negative name calling from some group of people in Nigeria, president Buhari and his government will not be deterred from eradicating corruption in the country (Nigeria) which is very good and Viewers Corner News team is supporting president Buhari’s government on that because corruption is the main reason Nigeria is in this terrible situation today. No matter who is involved, an aggressive approach to ending this disease is needed urgently for the fight to be successful. We (Viewers Corner News team) are also appealing to the Nigerian public to support president Buhari ‘s government mostly on this corruption issue because his government can not do it alone. The most surprising aspect is that those gangsters in the senate who have been indicted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission who called themselves lawmakers in Nigeria are still deliberating on national issues which is not supposed to be so. Since their names have already been mentioned on fraudulent activities though not convicted yet of any crime, they should step aside pending when they are cleared of all the allegations against them before they can start performing their official duties again. Normally that should be the standard procedure for a progressive country like Nigeria so as to put things straight. We expected the Nigerian lawyers to explain this aspect of law to those gangsters in the senate but they are not doing that. In the senate, most past governors who are now senators have lots of skeletons in their cupboards. They are either facing one tribunal or the other, such senators should not be making laws for the country (Nigeria). To an extent the constitution of Nigeria explained this aspect well but still they are hanging on there as gangster senators which is bad and no one is talking about it. Another terrible aspect is that those gangsters in the senate are the ones deliberating on Ibrahim Magu’s confirmation as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s Chairman, this same Ibrahim Magu and his commission are the ones going after them so they are doing everything possible to disqualify him from becoming the chairman of the commission. Normally such individuals should not have been part of the confirmation hearing but that is what is happening in Nigeria which is very wrong. However we are appealing to president Buhari to kindly go through the constitution of Nigeria again and see where and how his executive orders can be used to get things done in Nigeria whether with or without the Nigeria senate. We are saying so because as the president of Nigeria, an executive order can be invoked when it is necessary. Please time has come for you as the president of Nigeria to apply that which the constitution of Nigeria granted you but again review that aspect and see how it will be used to favour the Nigerian public because this group of gangsters in the senate are holding the country (Nigeria) hostage and that has to stop for Nigeria to move forward. Nigerians voted for APC/president Buhari’s led government to put things right in the country (Nigeria) so that they can be comfortable in life and if this aspect of trust and responsibility which the Nigerian people sacrificed to install APC/president Buhari’s led government to power is not properly handled, then something is wrong somewhere and should be corrected as soon as possible which we believe president Buhari and his government can handle nicely.
