Viewers Corner News team is appealing to the federal government of Nigeria to dialogue with the youths of Nigeria and others through more peaceful means. Stop arresting them when they are carrying out peaceful protests. The issue of unemployment in the country (Nigeria) may have been the result of their grievances which may have led to the last protests where lives were lost and properties worth billions of Naira destroyed. At the moment, the youths of Nigeria are a bit calm waiting anxiously to hear from the federal government of Nigeria on the way forward for the country before they think of the next line of action to take. It was made known to Viewers Corner News that some youths of Nigeria are still in custody, perhaps waiting to face the law court for offences allegedly committed during the protests. Based on that, we (Viewers Corner News team) are calling on the federal government of Nigeria and those states responsible for their cases to be lenient with them because frustration may have led them to committing what they are being accused of. If they were gainfully employed, perhaps they would not have chosen such part. Again, the federal government of Nigeria should address the unemployment, corruption and injustice across the country (Nigeria). In the prisons across Nigeria, there are so many people on awaiting trial for years, their cases have not been heard as alleged which brings us to the issue of prison reform to be discussed in our (Viewers Corner News team) next article.
