Viewers Corner was informed by our source in Abuja (Nigeria) that the election of Mr. Darius Dickson Ishaku of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been nullified by the Election Petition Tribunal for Taraba state sitting in Abuja on Saturday, November 7, 2015.
The tribunal nullified the election of Darius Dickson Ishaku of the PDP on the grounds that he was not validly nominated at the PDP primaries to contest the governorship election and declared Hajia Aisha Jumai Hassan of APC the Governor of Taraba state.
Mrs. Aisha Alhassan is the first democratically-elected female Governor in Taraba state.
