For a president like Idriss Deby of Chad to be defeated will never be possible because he has known already how to play his game of deceit nicely so that he can install himself back to power. Conducting elections in a country like Chad is just formalities, this man (Idriss Deby) has been in power for 26 years as the president of Chad and will continue forever until death do him part just like other African presidents who have refused to do the right thing by obeying the constitutional rights of their citizens. Again the voice of the people in their various countries are highjacked, the election they conduct is only for formalities nothing more than that and that is why the continent of Africa would not move forward because is still the same old corrupt leaders doing the same thing. No reforms, no vision for the future of their various countries, this is part of the reasons poverty is rampant in the continent of Africa. Just look at Chad for example, the ballot boxes were not inspected to know whether they were empty or not, this is laughable and in most polling stations across the country (Chad), voting procedures were not maintained. How can election be conducted in such a manner and after four to five years, president Idriss Deby would come again and still do the same thing by installing himself as usual. Honestly time has come for African leaders to have a change of heart and start thinking on how they can improve economic growth in their various countries and one of such steps would be to conduct free and fair elections in their various countries. Give the citizens of your various countries the opportunities to contribute to the democratic process. Carry out reforms within your various countries which would bring benefits to the economy so that the ordinary citizens can live a normal and happy life.
