We (Viewers Corner News team) shall continue to support the activities of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Nigeria for doing a great job and also the Nigerian whistle blowers. We should not forget that we have only one country which is Nigeria and the success of the country (Nigeria) today means that the future generation would have a better life to live in a country (Nigeria) where comfortability would be the order of the day. This means happiness and that process of trying to make it work perfectly starts now which the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is trying to achieve. Again people should not see the activities of the commission as a punishment, no it is not, we plead with all Nigerians to see it as a way forward for the future. The money recovered so far if it had been used properly without being stolen, the country (Nigeria) by now would have been singing a beautiful tune. Even a commissioner in one of the states in Nigeria had two billion Naira traced to his GTbank account and more of such huge sum of money may have also been kept in other banks too. These funds might have been given to the commissioner to carry out projects which would bring benefits to his state but he decided to steal them which is wickedness and now the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is looking for him. We also gathered that the said commissioner is now on the run, if by tomorrow he is caught and prosecuted some people in Nigeria would be defending him rather than asking him to pay for the crime he allegedly committed by bringing his state backward. If he knew that his hands are clean, why running? Time has come for all Nigerians to unite and fight a common enemy which is corruption because it has deprived every Nigerian the benefits they are entitled to as human beings.
