The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria allegedly said that there is enough evidence to jail ex-governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State.

This double-standard system of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria should stop. Information has it that the agency allegedly said that they have enough evidence to put ex-governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State behind bars. We ask: What about ex-president Buhari, who allegedly authorised former Central Bank governor Godwin Emefiele to manipulate the whole financial system of Nigeria, which has brought the country to a standstill? Why has he not been invited for questioning? So that he can explain to Nigerians what happened to Nigeria’s naira and the trillions of money allegedly looted from the treasury of the country. Again, all of ex-president Buhari’s children, including his wife, are billionaires, as alleged. Why has the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria, till today, not invited her for questioning? Ex-governor Willie Obiano should not be singled out. There are a whole lot of them in Nigeria who may have committed worse offences than ex-governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria should go after such individuals and bring them to trial. We are also calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission of Nigeria to widen their nets to reach the bigger thieves. Doing so would put the agency in a better position as an agency that is doing the right thing for the people of Nigeria.
