THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF NIGERIA TELEVISION AUTHORITY, FEDERAL RADIO CORPORATION, NIGERIAN BROADCASTING COMMISSION AND OTHERS HAVE BEEN SACKED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OF NIGERIA.

Viewers Corner got information that the Director General of the following corporations; Nigeria Television Authority, Voice of Nigeria, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, News Agency of Nigeria and the National Orientation Agency have been sacked by the Federal Government of Nigeria. The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed made this known during his meeting with the Chief Executives of these corporations on Monday, February 15, 2016 and it was also posted on the Facebook page of the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture. The dismissed Chief Executives are: Mr. Sola Omole (Directors-General of Nigeria Television Authority), Mr. Ladan Salihu (Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria), Mr. Sam Worlu (Voice of Nigeria), Mr. Mike Omeri (National Orientation Agency), Mr. Emeka Mba (Nigerian Broadcasting Commission) and Mr. Ima Niboro (Managing Director of News Agency of Nigeria). Alhaji Lai Mohammed  also directed the affected Chief Executives to hand over to the most senior officials in their various corporations.
