THE CZECH REPUBLIC’S DEFENCE MILITARY HAS SIGNED AN AGREEMENT TO PURCHASE EIGHT ISRAELI RADARS WORTH 3.5 BILLION CROWNS ($152 MILLION).

Viewers Corner News got information that the Czech Republic’s defense ministry has signed a contract with Israeli government to purchase eight mobile MADR 3D radars worth 3.5 billion crowns ($152 million) from Israel. Lubomir Metnar, the Czech Defense Minister said on Thursday, 5 December that the Israeli radars would end the country’s dependence on the outdated Russian machines. The radars are made by the Israeli state company Elta Systems and will be in operation by 2023 according to the report. The ELM-2084-type MADR radars are the detection systems for the Iron Dome batteries that Israel uses to intercept rockets fired by Palestinian militants.
