It is the same with some corrupt universities in other parts of the world, who are ready to play dirty as long as money is involved. Our point is this: before applying to go and read a course at any university abroad, it would be better to investigate such a university to know how credible such an institution is. Again, not all universities abroad have a good image, so Nigerians should do the needful before setting out to study abroad. Look at the drama going on with President Bola Tinubu’s certificate issue; the university speaks in riddles. Instead of being straightforward with the facts, it was alleged that the university, in one of their statements, revealed that Mr. Bola Tinubu attended the university, but the certificate he is holding was not issued by the university. Such a statement is confusing. We sense a dirty game being played in the whole issue. Again, we believe that it’s because the university was on oath; that’s why they were unable to completely cover President Bola Tinubu in all these certificate forgery issues; if not, they would have done everything to favour President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria, which does not show a good image for a university.
