The reason Nigeria is calm today is because Mr. Peter Obi, who is believed to have won the presidential election in Nigeria, has appealed to Nigerian youths to be calm since the matter is in court, where he hopes to reclaim his stolen mandate. If not, protests would have started, and no one would know exactly how they were going to end. Even some militants in the Niger Delta region have allegedly issued a warning that if the Nigerian law court does not do the right thing, they might take violent action against officials of the court and those politicians in Nigeria who are trying to destroy the democratic system of the country. So we are appealing to the election tribunal in Nigeria to do what is right in the best interest of peace and unity in the country by looking at every election petition and giving a sincere verdict to whoever truly won the presidential election held on February 25, 2023. Nigeria has enough resources to go around, but the problem is that some dubious, selfish, and corrupt politicians who do not care about the welfare of the people of Nigeria have refused to do the right thing, which is so sad. Hopefully, Nigeria will get it right one day.
