THE BRITISH BOXER, ANTHONY JOSHUA KNOCKED OUT DOMINIC BREAZEALE IN ROUND SEVEN TO DEFEND HIS IBF HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE.

The 26-year-old British boxer, Anthony Joshua defended his IBF heavyweight title by knocking out U.S. boxer, Dominic Breazeale in the seventh round at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday, June 25, 2016.

Anthony Joshua who won Olympic Super-heavyweight gold at London in 2012 ended his opponent’s (Dominic Breazeale) unbeaten professional record in the seventh round of their fight. Joshua was brutal in his punches to his challenger and this gave Breazeale an unsteady legs in the fifth round. With the Champion’s (Anthony Joshua) continuous firing of punches in the seventh round, Breazeale finally fell and was down again a few seconds which made the referee to stop the fight and declare Anthony Joshua a winner.

Joshua is expected to face Joseph Parker of New Zealand in his next fight probably in November this year.
