Yingluck Shinawatra, Thailand’s fugitive ex-prime minister who was sentenced to five years in prison by Thailand on corruption related offences has been granted citizenship by Serbia. According to the report we (Viewers Corner News) gathered from Belgrade, she (Yingluck Shinawatra) was granted citizenship by Serbian government because Serbia could benefit from her. With Serbian passport, the former prime minister of Thai, Shinawatra can travel to over 100 countries including European Union member countries without visa. Yingluck Shinawatra fled Thailand in 2017 some days before she was convicted of running a rice subsidy scheme that cost Thailand billions of dollars.
