Viewers Corner’s correspondent was informed that the recent Turkish warplanes hit which targeted PKK (a terrorist organization listed by the United States and European Unions) in southeast Turkey and northern Iraq have killed at least ten terrorists. The air strikes were carried out against the PPK group by the Turkish military on Monday and Tuesday this week in the mountainous regions of Turkey’s southern province of Hakkari and in northern Iraq. These are the areas where the PKK has camps near the Turkish border in the Avaşin and Basyan regions.
According to report, since July 2015 when PKK group started its 30-year armed campaign against the Turkish state, over 450 government security personnel and local guards have been killed, also not less than 4,500 PKK terrorists have been killed in counter-terrorism operations across Turkey and northern Iraq.
