It was reported that 10 people were killed at a Colorado supermarket shooting, including a police officer who was the first to respond to the scene. The suspect was arrested but his identity or details on a motive for the shooting at the King Soopers store in Boulder were not revealed when Boulder police Chief (Maris Herold) held an evening news conference. The attack was the seventh mass killing this year in the United States. The police officer that was shot dead was identified as Eric Talley (51 years) and had been with Boulder Police Department since 2010.
