Stephen Jameison who is serving a 12-year sentence for armed robbery escaped from a maximum security jail on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 by using bedsheets and pillow to scale over a wall that has razor wire on top.
He was on the run for about 10 hours with a stolen car before New South Wales police caught up with him using helicopters and dogs 60 miles away from the prison. Stephen Jamieson is 28 years old and will appear at Goulburn local court to face charges over the escape and pursuit.
