Viewers Corner News gathered recently from our correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) that president Buhari’s government allegedly said that traditional rulers/title holders in the country (Nigeria) should use their good office nicely by making sure that they keep their hands clean. That they should never be involved in any form of corrupt practices and anyone found in this act would have his title removed. This is very nice because the way some traditional rulers/title holders in Nigeria are going about dictating on who they would want in their various states to become governors is really troubling. They have turned politicians overnight, sometimes one wonders if this is true democracy where every individual have the right to choose who would lead them without following the orders from the traditional rulers of their place. Most of those title holders may have been compromised, hence they have the mind to come out openly to dictate who becomes the governor of their states but with the present alleged statement from president Buhari’s government, it would put them on check. Again any traditional ruler/title holder who is caught on corruption related activities should have his title removed, this is nice and a welcome news so is your choice traditional rulers/title holders in Nigeria to know which way to follow either corruption or lose your title.
