Viewers Corner’s correspondent in Abuja (Nigeria) learnt that Sambo Dasuki, the former National Security Adviser to the former President, Goodluck Jonathan has not finished singing, some Senior Retired Military Officers also got a share out of the 2.1 billion dollars arms procurement fund. If this is proven to be true then the retired military officers involved should face harsh punishment because this is a betrayal, they already knew what the money was meant for but still went ahead and collected their share. These men stayed in their various mansions while the junior officers were sent away to go and fight without proper equipment. How can such war be won when the big names in the military have shared the money meant for the procurement of equipment among themselves?
This is one of the worst things any military officer can do to his nation, that means if President Buhari did not come in as the President of Nigeria, this scam would have been sealed forever.
Our (Viewers Corner) sincere advice to the administration of President Buhari is to collect all what these retired officers allegedly received from Sambo Dasuki and appropriate punishment be given to them, that is after the investigation is concluded and they are found guilty. They should never be any compromise. Sambo Dasuki on the other hand is a disgrace to the Nigeria nation for putting the Nigerian military officer’s lives in danger because if he had not shared the money among his close associates, the military officers would have been better equipped to fight the insurgence groups. This is too bad. We (Viewers Corner) pray and hope that God Almighty would rescue the Nigeria nation from the hands of these terrible individuals that have caused so much pains to the Nigerian people.
