SOME OF THOSE NIGERIANS SENT ABROAD TO REPRESENT THE COUNTRY AS DIPLOMATS ARE AMONG THOSE TARNISHING THE IMAGE OF THE COUNTRY.

A Nigerian diplomat was seen being humiliated by Indonesian immigration officers. Based on our findings, it was alleged that the embassy staff from Nigeria was asked by the Indonesian immigration officers to identify himself, which is normal when you are residing abroad, but he arrogantly refused to identify himself, hence he was treated like a common criminal. If you are asked to identify yourself by any security officer, do it as quickly as you can. It does not remove anything from you as a person. It should be done politely because any form of resistance may earn you trouble and, in the end, you will still identify yourself. So why not save yourself from such embarrassment by doing the right thing and go away peacefully? The Viewers Corner News team is calling on the government of Nigeria to properly educate those they send abroad to represent the country because some of them are bringing disgrace to the country. In the embassy of Berlin in Germany, one senior embassy official was extorting money from Nigerians living in Germany, and those who could not pay were subjected to all sorts of humiliation. Not too long ago, one of those embassy officials in Berlin, Germany who slept with people’s wives, including other ladies, before assisting them to obtain Nigeria’s international passport was caught in a hotel in Germany with a Nigerian woman, all in the name of helping her to obtain a Nigerian passport, which is bad. The Viewers Corner News team is appealing to the federal government of Nigeria to train those they send abroad to represent Nigeria adequately in order to avoid a disgraceful act. It is a shameful thing to see an embassy official from Nigeria being treated like a common criminal. Hence, the Viewers Corner News team is calling for proper training of embassy officials before they leave Nigeria to serve in any country in the world.
