It is quite unfortunate to note that some Nigerians believed to be educated are praising ex-governors newly elected as Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They even went as far as to saying that their experience as governors is an asset which would move the country (Nigeria) to the next level. We (Viewers Corner News team) want to remind those Nigerians in this category that some of those ex-governors who are elected as Senators can not bring anything better. Most of them are very corrupt, selfish and wicked. They are only using the Senate as a cover up for the terrible atrocities they committed while in office as governors. If we (Viewers Corner News) take a closer look at their works when they were in office as governors, you would understand that most of them could not manage their states properly, even workers salaries and pensioners allowances were not properly paid in their various states. All they did was leave behind huge sums of debts for their states which would make things difficult for the governors elected to carry out meaningful projects that would bring benefits to the people of their states. Such group of ex-governors who are Senators ruined their various states and can not possibly do well as law makers. Some of them are only interested in what they would take home as benefits, the welfare of other Nigerians is not in their agenda which is the truth. However, one good thing Nigerians should be happy about is that President Buhari can never dance to the tune of those corrupt politicians who are now Senators elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, making it difficult for them to operate freely like they did when PDP was controlling the affairs of Nigeria. Certainly they may not be any form of budget padding, stealing massively from the treasury of Nigeria and also they may not be manipulations through various Senate committees to collect bribes because President Buhari will not allow or encourage such act of irresponsibility. On the other hand, we (Viewers Corner News) would use this opportunity to plead with President Buhari to push forward again the confirmation of Mr Ibrahim Magu as the chairman of Economic and Financial Crimes commission immediately the newly elected Senators resume so that Mr Ibrahim Magu can be able to complete his investigation of some of those corrupt Nigerian politicians. Another good thing is that there is no immunity for Senators in Nigeria which is nice.
