Based on our findings and what we know about Mr. Peter Obi when compared to President Bola Tinubu, including Nigeria’s past presidents, first, Mr. Peter Obi is a great leader who is going to carry all Nigerians along irrespective of ethnicity. Before undertaking any project, he will think of how his decision is going to create benefits for all Nigerians, especially the poor Nigerians who are struggling to feed themselves. Mr. Peter Obi will not approve 1.9 billion naira to buy cars for government officials. Mr. Peter Obi will never buy a yacht; he will regard the purchase of a yacht as an economic waste. Mr. Peter Obi will not approve 20.1 billion naira for his vice president to renovate his official residence. Mr. Peter Obi will not approve 160 million naira to buy cars for each of the lawmakers. Mr. Peter Obi will not appoint his son-in-law to manage the federal housing authority, and then the next day, billions of naira will be approved for that ministry. Mr. Peter Obi will not budget billions of naira for the office of the first lady, which is unconstitutional. Mr. Peter Obi will invest in agriculture, health care, and education. Mr.Peter Obi will devise a method on how insecurity will be eradicated in Nigeria so that the people of the country can have peace. Mr. Peter Obi will make sure that there is constant power supply across Nigeria. Mr. Peter Obi will not increase school fees in Nigeria when the people of the country are struggling to survive. Mr. Peter Obi will make sure that an alternative arrangement is made before removing subsidy. Mr. Peter Obi will be transparent; he will make sure that whatever money is going to be spent is made known to Nigerians. This is called accountability. Mr. Peter Obi will not go to any summit with hundreds of Nigerians; instead, he will go alone to save money. Mr. Peter Obi is not going to spend Nigeria’s money recklessly. Mr. Peter Obi will drastically cut down on the cost of governance in Nigeria. Mr. Peter Obi will not borrow money recklessly, and if money is going to be borrowed, he will make sure that it is for the right purpose, among other things. These are a few of the things Mr. Peter Obi’s presidency would have done differently when compared to President Bola Tinubu’s presidency, including the presidency of those that led Nigeria in the past. Now hear this: if Nigerians would sincerely examine what we have listed here and how much that would have been saved under Mr. Peter Obi’s leadership, then Nigerians would understand our point. Again, if these areas we mentioned here were properly managed, the extra money realised from these areas could be invested into the economy of Nigeria, which would create a positive change in the country. All these are most of the things Mr. Peter Obi’s presidency would have done perfectly well.
