Our findings concerning the Genetically modified organism (GMO) system and what it tends to achieve which is stylishly being introduced to most African countries, which some leaders of Africa have already embraced without proper investigation of this system is troubling. We believe that this GMO system, if fully operational in countries on the continent of Africa, may hurt them in the long run. Hence, we are calling on leaders of Africa to do their research properly concerning GMO products to know if it is good for them or not. We would also use this opportunity to inform leaders of Africa that these GMO seeds, based on the studies conducted by experts in this field cannot be reproduced, so if Africans abandon their traditional seeds which are healthy and can be stored after being harvested and go for GMO products which experts said, cannot be replanted, then in the long run, African farmers may lose their grains, which in the end would make them rely heavily on those with the GMO system for survival. What this means is that these experts on GMO system, who are from the advanced countries as they are called would control everything about Africa’s daily living in regards to food. So if you are accepting the GMO system, always have it at the back of your mind, the danger associated with such a system. Again, this is just advice to leaders of Africa, be wise and do what is right for the development of your various countries before it is too late.
