The former vice president of Nigeria, Mr. Atiku Abubakar has some formulas which he feels would make Nigeria great assuming he becomes the president of the country (Nigeria), even though majority of Nigerians do not agree with some of his points based on our (Viewers Corner News team) findings. Now some groups in Nigeria are calling on youths and other voters to support Mr Atiku Abubakar’s bid for president come 2019. In our (Viewers Corner News team) opinion, this plea would have worked if Mr Atiku Abubakar did not return to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria taking into consideration the leadership nature of the party. Again it would have been very nice if he had joined another political party when he left All Progressives Congress (APC), whether the party is popular or not. This again brings us to having this thought that Mr Atiku Abubakar does not have real advisers to advise him properly before going back to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of Nigeria. This is a political party (PDP) Mr. Atiku Abubakar once said terrible things against which majority of Nigerians both home and abroad know as the most corrupt party (PDP) in the history of Nigeria and now Mr Atiku Abubakar is back to that same party wanting to contest under the party’s platform. First, Mr Atiku Abubakar may not be given the opportunity to contest in the party (PDP) because some of those who fought to keep the party (PDP) alive when Mr Atiku Abubakar left them for APC may decide to contest for the position of the president, except he can buy his way over. However, with the happenings in Nigeria at the moment within the leadership of APC, if Mr Atiku Abubakar had joined another political party when he left APC like we (Viewers Corner News team) mentioned above, then he may be able to stand one on one with whoever the ruling party (APC) would present because right now president Buhari has not declared his intention to contest for another tenure but if he does, most definitely he shall be re-elected overwhelmingly. Mr Atiku Abubakar can never defeat president Buhari in any presidential contest in Nigeria, no matter how people look at it. Again that may only be possible if president Buhari is not seeking another tenure meaning that if APC presents another candidate, his chances of winning the next presidential election in Nigeria come 2019 may be slim. On the other hand, anything is possible in politics, the world is watching to see how it goes.
