SIX MEDICAL WORKERS ABDUCTED TWO WEEKS AGO IN LIBYA BY UNKNOWN GUNMEN HAVE BEEN RELEASED.

Viewers Corner News source in Tripoli (Libya) informed us that the six medical workers (four physicians, a nurse and an anesthetic technician) that were abducted two weeks ago by unknown gunmen in Libya have been released. We also learned that those abducted medical workers were used to bargain for the release of Izzedine al-Wahishi (a prisoner currently being held in Tripoli). The months of fighting between rival Libyan governments for control of Tripoli (Libya’s capital) is affecting medical workers and hospitals in the capital. On Thursday, two hospitals were struck by separate attacks, killing an ambulance worker and injured another medical worker. Libya has been in chaos since 2011 that an international military coalition helped Libya’s rebels to overthrow Moammar Gadhafi.
