It was reported that at least six people including two policemen were killed as protesters and security forces clashed on Monday in Baghdad and other cities in Iraq. According to the report, as Iraqi protesters resumed their anti-government demonstration last week, two protesters were shot by live bullets on Monday while the third person was hit by a tear gas canister in Tayaran Square. Both three protesters died in a Baghdad hospital and the fourth protester was shot dead by police in the Shi’ite holy city of Kerbala. In Basra city, two policemen were hit and killed by a civilian car during the protest. Protesters were demanding a change of government as they accused the current government of being corrupt.
