Shafqat Hussain was hanged recently in a Karachi prison in Sindh, Pakistan. Shafqat Hussain who was sentenced to death by hanging at the age of 14 years was executed at the age of 24 years. According to Viewers Corner News source in Pakistan, Shafqat Hussain was found guilty of kidnapping and killing a child, though his lawyer said his severe torture by the police made him into admitting the crime. World campaigners pleaded with the Pakistan authority to show mercy since he was juvenile when convicted but unfortunately the campaign did not yield any positive result.
