SEVENTEEN PEOPLE WERE KILLED BY THE ISLAMIC MILITANTS INSIDE SOMALIA POPULAR LIDO BEACH’S RESTAURANT .

Five Islamic militants stormed a restaurant in a popular Lido beach in Mogadishu, the capital city of Somalia on Thursday night and set off bombs which killed about seventeen (17) people. Al Shabaab (a militant group affiliated to al Qaeda) has claimed responsibility for this nefarious act. The Somalian police said that four of the militants were shot dead while one was captured alive when the militant group engaged in a gun battle for hours with the country’s soldiers. According to report, hundreds who were relaxing in the beach were also rescued by the soldiers.
