Viewers Corner News correspondent learned that seven workers died on Friday, February 16, 2018 while cleaning an underground drainage pit in a poultry farm at Morem village in Andhra Pradesh state (southern India). According to the report, the first worker who entered the drainage pit shouted for help because he had difficulty breathing and the other workers entered the pit to help him but unfortunately they suffocated. Four workers died immediately while the other three died later in a hospital. Many villagers who gathered at the poultry farm demanded the arrest of the farm officials. India experiences such accident because many workers clean underground drainage pit without protective gear.
