Our (Viewers Corner News team) correspondent in Owerri (Nigeria) informed us that Senator Hope Uzodinma is the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Imo state (Nigeria). In any democratic system, it is always nice to try something new if those in power are not making progress. Our (Viewers Corner News team) reason for saying so is that governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state is turning his state (Imo state) into a private enterprise and if not checked now, things may get worst. This is a governor who up till now can not pay workers salaries and pensioners allowances in Imo state (Nigeria) but spends millions of Naira belonging to the people of Imo state (Nigeria) on irrelevant issues because he feels no one can ever remove him out of office. Meaning that if his tenure ends, he will get another family member to take over from him while he moves over to the national assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as a senator but now that senator Hope Uzodinma would be campaigning under the platform of APC as the governorship candidate in Imo state (Nigeria), a breakthrough has been achieved which is great. We (Viewers Corner News team) believe that senator Hope Uzodinma shall win the Imo state governorship election come 2019 but it depends on how he sells his agenda to the people of Imo state. However, there are no strong political parties in Imo state (Nigeria) for now that can take over the state from APC.
