Some Nigerian leaders have ruined the economy of the country (Nigeria), how can a whole minister of industry, trade and investment allegedly aid the transfer of such huge amount of money (13.92 billion dollar) out of the country through illegal means without due process? This may not be the first time such illegal transaction may have taken place, other corrupt leaders in various departments within the country (Nigeria) may have assisted some companies in Nigeria to carry out different sort of illegal transfer of money in the past. This alone may also play a huge role in bringing the economy of Nigeria down. Another problem facing Nigeria is that a strong monetary policy have not been formulated most especially to guide the movement of funds both within and out of the country. Immediately such policy is implemented, every aspect within the country would fall in place and function very effectively. Again such policy should be backed by the law assuming any one goes against it by aiding a company to carry out such illegal transfer just like we have seen an alleged transfer of 13.92 billion dollars out of the country (Nigeria) without passing through the right channel. This is a serious crime and for Nigeria to grow as a nation, it must bring people who violated the law to book irrespective of who is involved. There should be no sentiments and if this procedure is followed properly, then any other company or business person would be more careful when handling financial matters. Most of these individuals committing these atrocities are not the ordinary Nigerians, they are the big names in the country (Nigeria) and when they are caught, their godfathers would rescue them immediately. If such attitude is not stopped, it would be very difficult for a country like Nigeria to grow.
What about the judiciary? With money, almost all of them in that arm of government would be singing a different tune, sincerely corruption in Nigeria is a problem that may be very difficult to eradicate because it has grown terrible large and has affected every division in the country (Nigeria). This is too bad.
