The Panama global paper leak has implicated lots of big names in Nigeria and around the world, what a shame and most of these leaders are the ones preaching against corruption but at the end they are the most corrupt. Some of them evaded taxes, stole from their countries national treasury with impunity and never cared about the people they are leading and after first tenure in power, this same group of corrupt leaders would come with all sorts of tactics to manipulate the voters so that they could win their votes for another tenure. This attitude is foolery and the people of their various countries still clap their hands for these corrupt individuals. This means the citizens creates opportunities for the leaders to always steal the national cake of the country while the ordinary people who voted for them to be in power would remain in abject poverty. How long can this injustice go on? Now this recent Panama global scandal allegedly have Senator David Mark’s name recorded and other big names in Nigeria. Again Senator David Mark (the Nigerian former senate president) held this position for almost 16 years (2007 to 2015) and as someone in this position for such a long time should at least be able to change the face of his town (Otukpo in Benue state) where he came from but our (Viewers corner) recent findings revealed that much were not done in his home town. Here is a man who has his name in a negative Panama global scandal as alleged, what would you gain to have lots of money stocked in a foreign bank while the citizens of your country can barely feed properly? This is a sin against God. Honestly time has come for Nigerian politicians to start doing the right thing. Corruption is evil and should never be encouraged because is a hindrance to development anywhere it exists in the world.
