It was alleged that King Salman of Saudi Arabia has written to President Emmanuel Macron of France to assist in stopping Qatar from purchasing the air defense missile system (S-400) from Russia. According to the report, King Salman expressed deep concerns on Qatar’s decision and he allegedly stated that if Qatar purchased air defense missile system (S-400), the kingdom (Saudi Arabia) would take all necessary measures including military action to eliminate the S-400. Since last year, Saudi Arabia including other Arab countries have been having problems with Qatar following the accusation that Qatar is funding terrorism which it denies.
