SAAD HARIRI, LEBANESE PRIME MINISTER HAS RESIGNED, CITING HIS LIFE IS IN DANGER.

Viewers Corner News correspondent learned that Saad Hariri, the Lebanese prime minister has resigned from his position, alleged that there is an assassination plot against him. In a televised broadcast from Riyadh (Saudi Arabia capital), Saad Hariri said that Iran controls the region and the decision making in Syria and Iraq, he also accused Iran and its Lebanese ally (Hezbollah) of causing conflict in the region (Arab world). His resignation opened up political uncertainty in Lebanon and may worsen the rival between Lebanese Sunni and Shi’ite Muslims. In Lebanon, Saudi Arabia supports Mr Saad Hariri while the Shia movement, Hezbollah is supported by Iran. Mr Saad Hariri became the prime minister of Lebanon in December 2016, after previously holding the position between 2009 and 2011. His father, Rafik al-Hariri (former prime minister of Lebanon) was assassinated in a car bomb in 2005 in Beirut and was widely blamed on Hezbollah.
