Viewers Corner News correspondent learned that the United States Special Counsel, Robert Mueller will appear on July 17, 2019 in an open session before the House of Representatives Judiciary and Intelligence Committees to testify. In April, U.S. Special Counsel Mueller issued a report concerning Russian meddling in the United States 2016 Presidential election. The 448-page report found that Russia meddled in U.S 2016 Presidential election and that President Donald Trump’s election campaign had contacts with the officials of Russia. The Democrats felt that Attorney General Barr misrepresented what was in the report, hence the need for Mueller to testify before the panels. Robert Mueller agreed to testify after the two committees issued subpoenas for his testimony on Tuesday.
